Rangers Game

Last month we escaped to Dallas/Ft. Worth for a weekend getaway. We made it to a Rangers game Friday night and I have to say, that ballpark is huge. I was impressed with it and it was also my first time seeing a Rangers game (Abby's too). We had a huge downpour a few hours before the game and it cooled the temps down alot. Thank goodness for that.

Abby was so excited about going to the game and she sat through the majority of it. She was taking it all in and having a great time. We had access to the Cuervo Club, which we ate at and cooled down with a nice beverage. It was an exciting game and Rangers won! They ended the night with a spectacular fireworks show.

We had a wonderful night and I will post more pics of our outing to Cowboys Stadium and the Ft.Worth Zoo. We had a blast that weekend!

First trip to the salon!

Last Friday I took Abby to get her hair trimmed at the salon. She was excited but seemed a bit nervous. She got her hair washed, trimmed and a blow-dry! Fancy!! What a big girl she is becoming. I'm sure this will now become a routine thing for us. She (and mommy w/my mother-in-law, Diana) had a wonderful time!

Writing our name...

I have been working with Abby on her writing skills. It's the teacher in me that wants her to be able to write her name "legibly" before she gets into real school and of course be able to write various words. We've been practicing for about a month or so and she is getting so much better. She is now wanting to write other words like "mom" and "dad".

We are so proud of Abby for being able to write her name!! I hope to post some new words real soon!

I'm behind...what else can I say?? I'm trying to catch up on moments/adventures that we've experienced and I forgot to post. There have been so many and I regret not putting them up sooner. But I did have a good excuse...I had horrible "all day" sickness and some of you know how that goes. So here they are and hope you enjoy them!
